at a meeting of Jamanagar chambers of commerce yesterday, set up 75 years ago, we ( hiranmay, Prof S Verma, Swami ji from RKM, and myself) raised the issue of setting up district social innovation venture fund of RS 1-5 crores to promote young budding innovators and entrepreneurs through local fund. In the context ofwww.techpedia.in, it will be a very useful complement. Warangal, nagpur, rajkot and jamanagr are all vying for the honor of bring first district to set up such fund. Imagine if people pool 100rs to 100,000 rs in every every district, how much entrepreneurial potential will be unleashed in most democratic manner. people will make government less relevant and individual imagination for inclusive development central to the discourse on national development.
